Preparing For the Full Tradition
Spiritual healing is a process of cleansing and renewal. What is taught here is not just, "how to heal" but also a "higher way of being." In the Bible referrers to this is healing as "sanctification." Everyone who avails himself or herself of sanctification will be grateful after the full Huichol tradition becomes available. David Hamblin is a bona fide representative of the Huichol healing tradition and has been specifically instructed by them to share their traditions with others in preparations of deeper and richer traditions, such as peyote ceremonies. Because of the blatant unconstitutional laws in Utah, where most of the participants reside, we cannot yet move forward.
We are grateful to participants of local Utah healing circles who have the courage to own their feelings and expose their inner world and challenges on video for our edification. These brave souls are sharing their deepest vulnerabilities to open to you the door. Please be respectful, and respect their private lives.
David Hamblin's Huichol teacher was told by the Creator, plainly, that He (the Creator) was also Jesus Christ of the Europeans, and that it was time for the Huichol tradition to be shared with everyone who wants to learn. The Huichol tradition has been faithfully preserved in order to restore the fullness of the gospel, and to save the earth from destruction. Here are the reassuring words of another Huichol Mara' acame, don Jose, who is declaring the same good news.
"The teachings are for all, not just for Indians. ...The white people never wanted to learn before. They thought we were savages. Now they have a different understanding, and they do want to learn. We are all children of God. The tradition is open to anyone who wants to learn. But who really wants to learn?"
Don Jose Matsuwa, Huichol, 1989
