About Us
Click here to watch our videos and learn further about us. There are hundreds of Euro-American students participating in our healing circles. Many of them continue with full encouragement to participate in their churches of origin. People find it exciting to meet with others who are boldly facing the truth about their lives, overcoming their weaknesses and healing their pain through the Creator. This challenging and arduous process is how true intimacy is achieved. Some people love this quality of openness, others can.t tolerate it. There would surely be more who would be healing and learning had not the State of Utah engaged in persecution and enacted unconstitutional laws against us these past 10 years. David Hamblin's indigenous teacher set up a healing circle among Euro-Americans seeking healing and a greater understanding in Utah. This shaman/teacher left the fall of 2000 because of persecution by Utah State officials. Some people may not agree that Indian religion should have the same status as do European style religions. Regardless, this is still America and the constitution declaring freedom of religion is still the law of the land. For those who honor the Constitution, Indian religion should have the same rights as does White religion. It wasn't only Utah going about establishing a religion by arresting medicine people, including David Hamblin, and saying who, and who could not, participate. The U.S. Attorney's Office arrested (after Utah's "speculative" case failed) medicine man James Warren Flaming Eagle Mooney and his gracious wife Linda a second time for bringing the medicine peyote to non-Indians. Anything good you see here is actually a reflection of the truth, goodness, and power, of the Indigenous traditions, which David Hamblin has been specifically blessed to represent. To be perfectly clear, David Hamblin is a White man who has studied with, and has been gathered to the indigenous tradition. Although David has Indian ancestry and is a dedicated medicine man, he was raised in the Euro-American culture. He is, nevertheless, a duly appointed representative of the Huichol tradition for non-Indians. It is the Huichol Indians who are the custodians of the original, ancient peyote ceremonies. Spiritual Healing is not for everyone, to be sure, and there are countless secular treatments for those who want no part of God's healing gift. Spiritual healing is for people who are searching for their higher selves and seeking their true path to God. These preparatory healing ceremonies (generously shown on video here) provide a healing framework to allow those of us non-American Native descent to even begin approach the complicated worldview of the Huichol people, in a useful way. If you learn this preparatory path, and heal your inner world by coming to the Creator, you will one day be prepared and invited to participate to the real deal. We work with people of all faiths and do not seek to alienate anybody from their religion of origin. We have Catholics, Latter Day Saints, Protestants, as well as those without formal religious affiliation, studying as students of the Red Path. "For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath."
